Programs
Every WeSpeakLoudly incorporates our WHOLE Body Living principles, giving each audience—whether groups or individuals—tools for making healthier decisions. We have two new projects under development, focused on improving the health of young Black women:
![]() |
YES! Young Empowered Sistahs™ helps young Black women ages 15-35 learn to reduce their risk of breast cancer. YES! offers age-appropriate curricula for each of four different age groups: Tweens (middle school); Teens (high school); Collegiate (college); and Career (young working women). WHOLE Survivor™ helps young Black women who are battling breast cancer rebuild their lives. Whether newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or years beyond medical intervention, WHOLE Survivor offers culturally specific survivorship tools for both individuals and breast cancer support groups to address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges breast cancer presents. |
Other WeSpeakLoudly programs include:
Building Our Families: Black Folks Challenging Infertility
HPV and Cervical Cancer: Prevention, Early Detection, and Treatment
Raising Healthy Daughters: A Mother/Daughter Circle
WHOLE Body Living: Wellness Strategies for African American Women
Your Body is Your Temple: Healthy Behaviors for Young Black Women
Each topic may be structured as a keynote address or a half-day or full-day workshop.
