Programs: WHOLE Survivor

After cancer treatment ends, what next?

Once active treatment ends, a woman’s life no longer revolves around the cancer center and the activities of a patient—she is now a survivor, on her own. Many women feel let down. Unsettled. Even a little fearful. Often, women who “graduate” out of active treatment are left with the question, “What next?”

Introducing WHOLE Survivor

WHOLE Survivor is an eight-week survivorship session with an intensive focus on self-care. In it, survivors learn how to examine the aspects of life that are off kilter as a result of the breast cancer ordeal, and identify resources and activities that will bring life back into balance. WHOLE Survivor guides women through unsettled feelings around body image, relationships, family, sexuality, work and finances that often emerge during cancer treatment. It teaches practical life skills to help maximize comfort and minimize stress, helping survivors regain the confidence needed to heal and thrive.
