About Us
WeSpeakLoudly (WSL) is a health education and social marketing firm based in Seattle, Washington. Guided by the principle WeSpeakLoudly on issues others only whisper about, WSL specializes in wellness products, programs, and partnerships especially created to help African American women and girls achieve and maintain optimal health.
Jacci Thompson-Dodd is the founder of WSL. She earned a Master of Science in Social Service and a Master of Arts in Afro-American Studies from Boston University as well as an undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
She serves on several panels for the National Cancer Institute and on the Minority Women's Health Panel of Experts for the Office on Women's Health, is on the Board of Trustees for Cancer Lifeline, is an alumna and board member of Hedgebrook, a writer's retreat located in the Pacific Northwest, and is an Ambassador for the Seattle African American Comfort Program.
